Bluebell is our favorite…

So some of you may know and some may think we are just obsessed. Bluebell holds a special place in our hearts for one main reason…it reminds us of my dad. Why? Well if you ever met my dad and came to his house he would offer you ice cream…not just ANY ice cream but BLUEBELL. His absolute favorite. If he knew you would be back for a visit, you can guarantee he had your favorite flavor in his deep freezer. I remember years ago while at a funeral my dad and I were talking in the back and he said “funerals are always so sad….I want my funeral to put a smile on everyone’s face…have a Bluebell ice cream truck outside”. Well my dad passed in 2014 and my husband Frank after hearing me tell this story contacted Bluebell and they made my dad’s dream come true. We passed out mini Bluebell cups at the funeral grounds on that hot July afternoon. Everytime my little family sees a Bluebell truck its our connection to my dad. It was ONLY fitting to contact Bluebell yet again and man did they help us out with this session! Matt at Bluebell was the BEST, he was so accomidating and Felicity and I were holding back tears just thinking of how excited my dad would be that we were shooting a Bluebell session. These photos are not just a girl and some ice cream but to us…..it’s happiness! Happy she is graduating, happy that we can celebrate her accomplishments and happy because we KNOW dad is watching from heaven. Life is short, make it sweet!
