A Texas proposal…

My cousin Bryan asked me if I could help him capture his proposal to his girlfriend Erica and from that moment I was soo excited! This is a big deal….how do you want to propose? Where? When? He chose the gorgeous location Out Under the Trees in Angleton, TX. To me this location was perfect just their style…Rustic and all things TEXAS! I’d be lying if I’d say I wasn’t a bit nervous that day. Would everything go as planned… will she say yes? yes, yes of course :) Just wanting to make it memorable for them. My daughter, Felicity was going to video the entire thing and we of course said we are just taking video of me behind the scenes ( I do that a lot and post to my story, IG etc) So not far fetched. We went out to one of the ranch’s pastures and started taking photos. In a lot of my couple sessions I love to bring the woman to the front of the frame and the guy behind her and ask him to just look in her direction admiring her beauty and the woman to smile in my direction. So….Erica is smiling and Bryan drops to his knee. I ask her to now look back at her man for a photo and BAM! Erica’s reaction was so sweet. She looked and smiled and then you see on her face like… oh wait? He’s proposing!! The waterworks started and yes a couple misty eyes behind my camera. Took a few moments to reset and then we started with our engagement session. All in all….I think it went great! Congratulations you two, May your marriage be filled with love and laughter always.
